The backwards banquet
An encounter with the unusual and a feast for all the senses – your guests will long remember this dinner as a break from their routine lives.
Throughout the evening the banquet is served “back to front”. We trick the senses as we introduce our guest to a whole new world of gala dining.
What at first sight appears to be a cigar (in fact specially shaped bread) is served at the start of the meal. Next comes coffee (a cup full of coffee-coloured soup), then ice cream (three scoops: vanilla = potato, chocolate = meat, strawberry = beetroot). Things continue in the same vein until finally it is time for the starter – a beef consommé that turns out to be an apple gazpacho with melon balls. Finally the “leftovers” (made of marzipan) are presented to the diners and the backwards banquet is brought to an end. The waiters add to the overall experience, helping to make the banquet a night to remember!

- Cappuccino with cigar
- Ice cup with petits fours
- Cake with fruit glaze
- Roast chicken with wild asparagus and sweetcorn
- Poached lobster on morillon foam with shrimps
- Spaghetti with tomato sauce
- Clear soup with vegetables
