Die Schlagernacht des Jahres

Das Hitfeuerwerk mit den Superstars des deutschsprachigen Schlagers
mit Semino Rossi, G.G. Anderson, die Paldauer, Nik P., Petra Frey und Simone

Great emotions are guaranteed when superstars such as Semino Rossi, G. G. Anderson or Simone give solo concerts in the Stadthalle.
However, when all three superstars come together in a single event and, in addition, their most popular colleagues also agree to join the evening, it means that one of the greatest European festivals of Schlager Music is here:
The Night of Schlager Music! The audience can expect a sensational gathering of stars and a firework of top hits. Even the audience’s favourites themselves are eagerly awaiting this evening.
Semino Rossi
The new album of the Argentinean heartthrob ‘Die Liebe bleibt’ [Love Remains] includes songs that touch one’s heart and bring the best out in Semino’s exceptional voice. Sensitive love songs with texts that give people comfort and courage to find new ways in love and in life, South American rhythm, music to sway to – all of them new but still pure Semino Rossi! His latest CD has even more to offer: The songs in his native language are exceptional as always. This time he has chosen on one of the most beautiful pop ballads, ‘Nights in White Satin’ (originally by The Moody Blues), and sings it in Spanish. One only needs to listen to a few bars to understand what an excellent idea this was. Semino loves the song and this is exactly what makes his version of it into an absolute highlight.
G.G. Anderson
G. G. Anderson’s career from electrician to Schlager star is simply unique. The media hype which started with the hits 'Mama Lorraine' and 'Sommernacht in Rom' [Summer night in Rome] at the beginning of the 1980s led to great fame, success and to the opportunity to entertain people from great theatre stages. However, one thing his success did not achieve, it has never made him aloof so that even after many years of popularity, he still has his feet firmly on the ground.
The Paldauer
The Music of the Paldauer means putting everyday life to one side, charging-up with optimism, enjoying feelings. The special stage settings, the unique light show and the agreeable sound are the hallmark of the Paldauer and transform an evening into an unforgettable experience. Every single Paldauer concert is profound and touching. One simply feels that the musicians have prepared themselves for their audience with heart and soul.
Nik P.
Nik P. has been checking through what was left ‘unfinished’, has been looking at songs that he once started but never actually produced, songs that needed time to mature to become really good. Now, they are here. The album WEISST DU NOCH [DO YOU REMEMBER] is a treasure trove of ideas and awareness of life that only somebody can express who is really honest, open to the world and down-to-earth. The songs which took a long time to mature mix seamlessly with the newly and spontaneously composed ones.
Petra Frey
‘Lieben-Leben-Lachen' [Loving-living-laughing] is one of the titles of her new album ‘Feuer und Eis’ [Fire and ice] which also seems to be the life’s philosophy of this likeable, fun-loving singer who started her career very early in life. She was only 12 when she was discovered, and only three years later she won the national pre-selection for the Grand Prix Eurovision. Since her extraordinary debut with the song ‘Für den Frieden der Welt’ [For the peace of the world] at the Grand Prix in 1994, she has brought out ten albums in which she has shown us the many facets of her talent. From traditional musical elements, via modern pop sounds to Latin American influence, she has given the German Schlager a new face again and again and has yet remained true to herself. The titles of her last two albums ‘Göttlich weiblich’ [Heavenly female] and ‘Selbsbewusst’ [Confident] are very meaningful and a teasing homage to femininity with all its refinement.
Simone
As far as femininity and refinement are concerned, Simone in no way falls behind her dark-haired colleague. With the song ‘Als der Morgen die Nacht übernahm’ [When morning conquered night], one of the most attractive and most successful and multifaceted Austrian Schlager stars reached the top of the German Schlager charts in 2009. In 2006, the winner of the Amadeus Award brought out her so far most successful album ‘Das Beste und mehr’ [The best and more].
