On his latest CD and on the single of the same name, Xavier Naidoo predicts that everything can get better. They are once more proof that he is one of the most popular and enduring artists in the German-speaking area and since his debut 13 years ago, he has certainly pursued a breathtaking path to success. The individual stages are marked by inspiring, sold-out live performances and a really impressive series of top hits. With his individual combination of outstanding talent, authentic style and spiritual content, Xavier Naidoo has created his own German soul genre, which has been fascinating millions of fans for nearly one and a half decades. The response to his albums, singles and DVD publications, all of which have won awards of either gold or platinum, document his magnetic appeal. Following his Arena Tour at the end of last year, Xavier Naidoo will give a number of select open-air concerts this summer.
As a soloist and together with Söhne Mannheims (the Sons of Mannheim), Xavier Naidoo has opened up new and differentiated ways in German pop music. Genial musicality, incredible versatility and uncompromising quality, combined with intensity and charisma have sparked unique reactions that have spread over the entire German speaking region and neighbouring countries. Since Xavier’s debut ‘Nicht von dieser Welt‘ (Not of This World) in 1998 and the first hit of Söhne Mannheims ‘Zion’ in 2000, Mannheim’s pop prophets have always taken turns at the top of the charts. Zwischenspiel (Interlude)/Alles für den Herrn (Everything for the Lord)(XN/2002), Alles Gute vor uns (Everything Good in front of Us)(XN/2003), Noiz (SM/2004), Telegramm für X (Telegram for X) (XN/2005), Power of the Sound (SM/2005) and the joint singing competition in Schwetzingen are the titles of individual career hits.

Xavier Naidoo fought hard for his music, his identity and his independence. He separated from his original producer and label, looked for and found new allies and his own team. From time to time, he dedicated himself to a variety of projects and co-operations, which include the number one single ‚Ich kenne nichts (das so schön ist wie du)’ (I Don’t Know Anything … (That is as Beautiful as You) on which he sings together with the US Rapper RZA. Xavier never stands still; he is always on the move. His songs reflect his incredible creativity and willpower. Germany’s voice of soul masters all categories and surprises everyone with his variety, finesse and complexity of lyrics. Bestselling singles such as ‘Wo willst du hin?’ (Where do You Want to Go?), ‘Bevor Du gehst’ (Before you Go) and ‘Wenn ich schon Kinder hätte’ (If I Already had Children) or ‘Dieser Weg’ (This Way) followed on seamlessly from earlier hits such as ‘Führ mich ans Licht’ (Guide me to the Light) or’ Nicht von dieser Welt’ (Not of this World).
